For Tiger Woods backers and golf betting fans, Friday must have felt like a gut punch.
A month after shocking the world and winning his first Major since 2008, Woods missed the cut after a disastrous Round 2 at the PGA Championship.
Woods came into the day with odds of +4000 with Sugarhouse to win the tournament, after Brooks Koepka’s stunning 7-over 72 in the first round had him way out in front.
Starting the round at +2, the struggles set in early off the tee, as Tiger failed to hit a fairway until the ninth hole.
He didn’t flash a smile until the 18th hole where he hit his best shot off the tee of the day and hit just his third fairway.
Woods finished the day at 5-over 68 putting him one stroke off the projected +4 cut.
